Serra companies Bonsai, Swarm Engineering, and Provision each honored with an AgTech Breakthrough Award
The AgTech Breakthrough Awards are held each year to recognize the best agricultural and food technology companies, products and services around the globe. This year, Serra is pleased to announce that three Serra Ag Tech Fund companies were awarded each in different categories.
Bonsai Robotics, a precision robotics company, was awarded the Precision Agriculture Solution of the Year in the In-Field Systems category.
Provision Analytics, the company that has created a platform for food safety and quality data, was awarded the AgTech Data Analytics Solution of the Year in the Analytics category.
Lastly, Swarm Engineering, the company that is helping optimize the food chain, was awarded the AI-based AgTech Solution of the Year in the Internet of Things and AI category.

SWARM Engineering Welcomes Two Additional Female Advisory Board Members
SWARM Engineering announced last week it has two additions to its distinguished Advisory Board. Vonnie Estes and Dr. Magarit Khachatryan will join the SWARM Advisory Board to provide key insights and guidance to the Board of Directors, committees of the Board, and the executive leadership.

SWARM Engineering Raises $2.7 Million in Seed Funding Led by S2G Ventures and Serra Ventures
SWARM Engineering , a Serra Capital III SBIC and Serra Capital Ag Tech Fund company, announced that is has closed funding for a $2.7M seed round. The round was led by Serra Ventures.
SWARM is a Software-as-a-Service platform that uses a next generation cognitive computing system designed to tackle issues in the food supply chain and logistics such as load planning, inbound sourcing, demand/supply planning, maximizing yield, and pricing optimization.
